Abstract
Rapid technological advancements in recent years, particularly the expansion of artificial intelligence, have significantly transformed organizational structures and human resource management practices. Organizations increasingly rely on intelligent systems and digital infrastructures to enhance learning processes, knowledge flows, and employee performance. The purpose of this article is to explain the role of artificial intelligence and organizational information systems in improving human resource productivity with an emphasis on knowledge transfer. Using an analytical and review-based approach, the study examines the theoretical foundations related to AI in organizations, knowledge transfer, knowledge sharing, and organizational information systems, and clarifies the relationships among these concepts. Recent findings indicate that AI, beyond being a purely technical tool, can facilitate knowledge processes within organizations when integrated with human and informational infrastructures. In this context, knowledge transfer is considered a key mechanism for enhancing employee performance, while knowledge sharing acts as an important facilitator of this process. Moreover, employees’ perceptions of AI usefulness, self-efficacy in using intelligent systems, and perceived skill threats play a crucial role in shaping knowledge-related behaviors. Overall, the synergy between artificial intelligence, organizational information systems, and knowledge transfer mechanisms can contribute to improved employee performance and higher human resource productivity in modern intelligent organizations.
